Fire Tube Boiler sangat economize untuk kecepatan steam sampai 1 sd 16.000 kg/jam dengan tekanan sampai 10-18 kg/cm2. Fire Tube Boiler dalam sistem kerjanyanya menggunakan bahan bakar  Light Oil. Natural Gas.LNG, CNG atau bahan bakar padat, biomass (cangkang sawit , batu-bara/coal . Sebagian besar Fire tube boiler dirakit untuk industrial  semua jenis bahan bakar.

Cara kerja Fire Tube Boiler cukup mudah di mengerti yaitu dikarenakan pada saat proses pengapian yang terjadi di dalam pipa, panas yang dihasilkan dari pengapian tersebut akan dihantarkan langsung kedalam boiler yang berisi air  treephass.

  • Banyak energi kalor yang terbuang langsung menuju stack sehingga nilai efisiensinya rendah 89% with economizer & preheter  95%.
